After download and install TeamViewer just start the program. You will see two options on the top (header).

In Remote Control there are 2 options over there.

2 – Control Remote Computer.
In Allow Remote Control there is YOUR ID (something like – 628 512 432) and PASSWORD (something – 4219).
If you want your partner handles your computer than tell your partner your ID and password if you would like to allow remote control. Now your partner will manage your computer.
If you want to handle your partner’s PC than use second option Control Remote Computer. Just ask him to tell his ID and enter your partner’s ID in [Partner ID box] in order to control the remote computer.
Click Connect to partner. Don’t use File Transfer option until you don’t know.
